World AIDS Day 2019

ERUUF to Display AIDS Memorial Quilt
during 31st Anniversary of World AIDS Day

In honor of World AIDS Day 2019, there will be 24 panels from the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt on display in the Sanctuary of the Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (ERUUF, 4907 Garrett Road, Durham, NC) from Wednesday, November 27 through Monday, December 2, including on Thanksgiving.

In addition, members of ERUUF have created five new panels honoring those who have been lost to AIDS. This year marks the 31st anniversary of World AIDS Day calling for a spirit of social tolerance and a greater awareness of HIV/AIDS. The Quilt display is open to the public from 10 AM to 8 PM for six days.

On Sunday, December 1, ERUUF will hold a special 10:30 am service in remembrance of World AIDS Day, followed by a reception hosted by the Alliance of AIDS Services - Carolina (AAS-C).
